2012 NFL Week 2 Point Spreads & Odds
(The Spread) – The opening odds have been released for Week 2 in the NFL. Let’s take a look at the Week 2 point spreads.
Week 2 kicks off with a NFC North clash in Green Bay when Aaron Rodgers and the Packers host the Bears on Thursday night. Despite Green Bay’s 30-22 loss to the 49ers in Week 1 and Chicago’s dismantling of Indianapolis, the Packers have opened as 5-point favorites.
On Sunday the Buccaneers are 9-point road underdogs against the defending Super Bowl champion Giants, who were upset by the Cowboys in the opening game of the 2012 season. Despite Tampa Bay winning and New York losing, the Giants are 9-point home favorites in Week 2.

Also on Sunday, the Patriots are 13.5-point favorites over the Cardinals, who upset the Seahawks in Week 1. The Saints, despite being upset by the Redskins in New Orleans, are 3-point road favorites against the Panthers, who were upset by the Bucs in Week 1. The Vikings are also 1-point road favorites against Andrew Luck and the Colts this week.
The 49ers, who shocked the Packers in Green Bay on Sunday, are 6.5-point favorites over Peyton Manning and the Broncos. The Bills are also 3.5-point favorites over the Chiefs despite getting beaten badly by the Jets and the Cowboys are 2.5-point favorites in Seattle against Russell Wilson and the Seahawks.
