2012 NFL Preseason Week 1 Odds
(The Spread) – Oddsmakers have updated the NFL preseason odds for Week 1, which starts on Thursday. Let’s check out the latest spreads.
Following their 17-10 victory over the Cardinals in the Hall of Fame Game on Sunday night, the Saints have a quick turnaround this week. They’ll visit the Patriots in New England on Thursday at 7:30PM ET and are a 2.5-point road underdog while the over/under total is set at 40.
The battle for Pennsylvania will also take place on Thursday when the Eagles (+1.5) host the Steelers (-1.5) at 7:30PM ET. The Falcons (-2.5) will also host the Ravens (+2.5) at 7:30PM ET on Thursday while the Packers (+2.5) will visit the Chargers (-2.5) at 8:00PM ET.
On Friday night, Tim Tebow and the New York Jets will visit the Cincinnati Bengals (-1.5) at 7:30PM ET. The defending Super Bowl champion Giants (+2.5) will also visit the Jaguars (-2.5) at 7:30PM ET on Friday while the 49ers (-3.5) will host the Vikings (+3.5) at 9:00PM ET.
On Saturday, Cam Newton and the Panthers (-2.5) will host the Texans (+2.5) at 7:00PM ET and on Sunday, the Colts (PK) will host the Rams (PK) at 1:30PM ET. The Monday night game this week will take place in Oakland where the Raiders (-1.5) will host the Cowboys at 8:00PM ET.
