Olympic Women’s Gymnastics Odds
LONDON, England (TheSpread) – The United States has a chance to come up big in Women’s Gymnastics at the 2012 Olympics. Here is a look at the odds for each gymnastics event.

When it comes to winning gold as a team, oddsmakers see the United States as the favorite, giving them odds of -110 to win, while Russia has odds of +250 and China has a money line of +275. The United States won the team silver at the 2008 Olympics while China won the gold. The U.S. won the 2011 Team World Championship, while Russia took second and China placed third.
When it comes to the individuals, American Jordyn Wieber is favored to claim gold, as she has odds of +120 to win the All-Around Competition while Viktoria Komova of Russia has odds of +250 to win, as does American Gabby Douglas. Wieber is just 17 years old but she is the current All Around World Champion. Komova is also just 17 and she was the 2010 All Around World Champion. She is also favored to win the Uneven Bars event with 5/4 odds. Douglas is 16 entering the Olympics. She was part of the U.S. team that won the gold at the World Championships last year.
