(TheSpread) – Monday’s NHL schedule features just two games but here is a look at what the oddsmakers think of the light schedule.

On Monday night, the NHL has two games, and only one currently has odds listed. That game is the Florida Panthers hosting the Vancouver Canucks at 7:30PM ET (View Matchup). Oddsmakers see the Canucks as the favorite, giving them odds of -144 while the Panthers have a money line of +133 at home. The over/under for goals scored has been set at 5.5. The Canucks have the top record in the Western Conference at 26-13-3. They are 14-8-1 on the road. Florida is winning the Southeast Division at 20-13-8 and they have a 10-4-5 record at home. Vancouver has won the last three meetings in this series and also won seven of the last eight.

Monday’s other contest features the Kings hosting the Capitals at 10:30PM ET (View Matchup). Oddsmakers have yet to release odds for this game but the Capitals come in with a record of 21-16-2 while the Kings are 20-15-4. The Caps have just seven wins on the road while the Kings have 12 wins at home. Los Angeles has actually won its last four games against Washington.
