NFL Week 17 Las Vegas Odds
(The Spread) – The 2011-12 NFL Season is in its final week of play, but there are plenty of key games that the MGM Mirage in Las Vegas has its eyes on.
The one game this week with everything on the line has the New York Giants hosting the Dallas Cowboys at 8:20PM ET on NBC. The winner of this game will be the NFC East champion and be the No. 4 seed in the NFC playoffs the following week. The big question going into the game is the health status of Dallas QB, Tony Romo, who suffered an injury to his throwing hand last week. Dallas says he will play, but due to the uncertainty, oddsmakers from the MGM Mirage have yet to release a line for this game.
In fact, many games are without a line thus far in Vegas as they are unsure as to whether teams will be using their full compliment of players. Many teams have earned playoff spots already and may be looking to rest players to avoid major injuries.
One big game that does have a line is the Bengals hosting the Ravens. The Bengals need a win to secure the final playoff spot in the AFC while the Ravens are playing for the AFC North title and possibly the top seed in the AFC with a win and a loss from the Patriots. Oddsmakers from the MGM Mirage have made the Ravens a 2.5-point favorite on the road. Baltimore holds a 31-24 win over the Bengals earlier this season.
