HOUSTON: The Texans are 10-4 on the season following a 28-13 loss to Carolina last week at home. Houston has won its last seven games prior to the loss to lock up the AFC South Division. The Texans are tied for the second seed in the AFC playoffs right now despite the fact they are using their third-string quarterback. T.J. Yates. Houston is 9-4-1 against the spread this season and 5-2 on the road while hitting the under in 9 of 14 games. Houston is averaging 24.5 points and 377.4 yards per game on offense this season, but the Texans have been held to 20 points or less in their last four games. Yates has thrown for 770 yards and three TD’s, but also has three INT’s in four games. Defensively, the Texans are holding opponents to just 16.9 points and 277.9 yards per game. Houston has 17 INT’s and 39 sacks this season as a team.

INDIANAPOLIS: The Colts won their first game of the season last week, beating Tennessee 27-13. The Colts are now 1-6 at home this season and 5-9 against the spread. They have split the over/under total in 14 games. In the win over the Titans, running back Donald Brown rushed for 161 yards on 16 carries with a score to lead the offense. Indy had just 287 total yards in the win, but forced three turnovers against the Titans. Indianapolis is now averaging just 15.1 points and 283.6 yards per game. The Colts are allowing 28.2 points and 385.1 yards per game on defense.

ODDS: Oddsmakers have made the Texans a favorite on the road in this game, giving Houston odds of -6.5 points against the Colts on Thursday night. The over/under odds have been set at 40 points.
