2011 NFL Week 15 on CBS: Dolphins vs. Bills Odds & Spread

Dolphins vs. Bills Week 15 Odds

BUFFALO, NY (The Spread) – With their playoff hopes all but dashed, the Dolphins and Bills will square off in Buffalo this Sunday at 1:00PM ET.

MIAMI: The Dolphins are still mathematically alive in the AFC playoff picture but that didn’t stop them from firing head coach Tony Sparano earlier in the week. The release came almost immediately following Miami’s ugly performance in a 26-10 loss to the Eagles in Week 14. The loss dropped the Dolphins’ record to 4-9 on the year and it was the sixth time they failed to cover this season (6-6-1).

BUFFALO: Like the Dolphins, the Bills haven’t been mathematically eliminated in the AFC but you’d be hard pressed to find anyone in Buffalo believing that the playoffs are still an option. Not for a Bills team that has dropped six in a row and seven of their last eight. Their latest defeat came at the hands of the Chargers, who defeated Buffalo 37-10 as a 7-point favorite. The loss dropped the Bills’ season record to 5-8 and their ATS record to 5-7-1.

ODDS: Oddsmakers have installed the Bills as a 1-point favorite over the Dolphins, while the over/under total for this game is currently sitting at 42 points. Miami enters the game with a 4-9 overall record and is 1-5 on the road, while Miami is 5-8 overall and 4-2 at home.

TRENDS: The Dolphins are 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games against the Bills but they’re just 2-5 ATS in their last seven trips to Buffalo. The under is 7-3-1 in the last 11 meetings between these two teams, 21-6 in the Dolphins’ last 27 road games and 8-3 in the Bills’ last 11 home games.
