Raiders vs. Packers Week 14 Odds
GREEN BAY, WI (The Spread) – The Packers will put their undefeated record on the line this Sunday when they host the Raiders at 4:15PM ET.
OAKLAND: Things just got very interesting in the AFC West. The Raiders’ 34-14 loss to the Dolphins coupled with the Broncos’ come-from-behind win against the Vikings last Sunday knotted things up in the division. With four games remaining, the AFC West is now up for grabs between Oakland and Denver, who are both 7-5. Perhaps the most jarring aspect of the Raiders’ loss to the Dolphins last weekend outside of the score, was the fact that Michael Bush rushed for only 18 yards on 10 carries. Carson Palmer did throw for two touchdowns but they came when Miami essentially had the game in the bag. With Denver hosting the wounded Chicago Bears this Sunday, the Raiders could be looking up at the Broncos in the division with a loss to the Packers.
GREEN BAY: The Giants certainly made it interesting in the end but the Packers eventually prevailed in their 38-35 victory in New York last Sunday. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw for 369 yards and four touchdowns, while Greg Jennings caught seven passes for 94 yards and a touchdown. Jordy Nelson also had a big day, catching four passes for 94 yards while tight end Jermichael Finley finished with 87 yards on six catches and one TD. The victory improved Green Bay’s record to 12-0 overall and 8-4 against the spread, while the over has now hit in eight of the Pack’s 12 games this season.
ODDS: Oddsmakers have installed the Packers as 11-point favorites over the Raiders for Sunday’s game, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 51.5 points. Oakland enters the game with a 7-5 overall record and is 4-2 on the road this year, while Green Bay is 12-0 overall and 5-0 at home.
TRENDS: The Raiders are 6-1 against the spread in their last seven road games and 6-1 ATS in their lat seven games as a road underdog. They’re also 7-2 ATS in their last nine games as an underdog overall and 5-1 ATS in their last six games versus a team with a winning record. The Packers, meanwhile, are 7-0 against the spread in their last seven games following an ATS loss and 5-1 ATS in their last six home games.
