That win snapped a four-game losing streak for the Chiefs, who have been battling injuries all season, losing the likes of quarterback Matt Cassel and running back Jamaal Charles for the season. Kansas City is 5-7 overall this year and 7-5 against the spread while going under the point total odds in 9 of 12 games this year. Kansas City has one of the worst offenses in the NFL this season, averaging just 13.6 points and 299.8 yards per game. The Chiefs have the second worst passing attack in the league, posting just 179.2 yards per game through the air. Tyler Palko has been under center recently for the Chiefs, but he has thrown for just 601 yards and one touchdown with six interceptions in five games. Kansas City’s defense has been respectable, allowing 22.3 points per game, but the Chiefs are giving up 130 yards per game on the ground.

NEW YORK: The Jets are coming off a 34-19 win at Washington last week, giving them a two-game winning streak. New York is now 7-5 on the year and 5-7 against the spread. The Jets have actually went over the point total odds in 8 of 12 games this season. The Jets are scoring 24.2 points per game but only amassing 310 yards per contest. The team has been led by quarterback Mark Sanchez, who has thrown for 2,678 yards with 19 touchdowns and 11 interceptions on the year. The Jets defense hasn’t been as strong this season as it has been in the past, as they are allowing 21.7 points and 317.5 yards per game.

ODDS: Oddsmakers have made the New York Jets the favorite in this matchup, as the Jets have point spread odds of -9 at home against the Chiefs on Sunday. The over/under total has been set at just 36.5 points, which is currently the second lowest over/under total of any game this week in the NFL.
