2011 NFL Week 12 Odds: Broncos vs. Chargers Spread & Totals

Broncos vs. Chargers Week 12 Odds

SAN DIEGO, CA (The Spread) – Division rivals jockeying for position in the AFC West will meet on Sunday in San Diego when the Chargers host the Broncos at 4:15PM ET.

DENVER: Sitting at 1-4 the Broncos looked finish heading into the bye in Week 5. But John Fox made a change at quarterback, inserting Tim Tebow in as the starter and since then Denver hasn’t looked back. While he did suffer a hiccup against the Lions in late October, Tebow, with a ton of help from the Broncos’ defense, has managed to flip Denver’s record to 5-5. He’s been brutal in the passing game but his late-game heroics against the Dolphins, Chiefs and Jets have saved the Broncos season and has made Denver into a playoff contender.

SAN DIEGO: The Chargers continue to look absolutely lost. With their 31-20 loss to the Bears in Week 11, San Diego is now 0-5 in its last five games and 4-6 on the year. Philip Rivers’ horrendous season continues, as he’s thrown for 3,023 yards but he’s been picked off a league-high 17 times. The Bolts now sit in last place in the AFC West as their 4-1 start is nothing but a distant memory now. If the Chargers don’t turn things around soon, they’ll miss the playoffs for a second-straight year despite arguably owning the best talent in the division.
