2011 NFL Week 12 on FOX: Bears vs. Raiders Odds, Spread & Totals

Bears vs. Raiders Week 12 Odds

OAKLAND, CA (The Spread) – A suddenly much different-looking Bears team will travel to Oakland on Sunday to take on the Raiders at 4:05PM ET.

CHICAGO: With their 31-20 win over the Chargers in Week 11 the Bears have no won five in a row but all is not right in the Windy City. Jay Cutler fractured the thumb on his throwing hand and could miss the remainder of the season. That means that Caleb Hanie will be called upon to save Chicago’s season, which is troubling considering he’s highly inexperienced. The Bears sit at 7-3 in the NFC North and right in the thick of the playoff picture but without Cutler, they may not stand a chance.

OAKLAND: Christian Ponder nearly led the Vikings to a come-from-behind victory last Sunday in Minnesota but the Raiders eventually prevailed, 27-21. The win was Oakland’s second in as many games and the Raiders remained atop the AFC West standings at 6-4. They’re also 7-3 against the spread this season as Carson Palmer continues to survive without Darren McFadden, thanks in large part to the outstanding running of Michael Bush (six touchdowns). With the Broncos now suddenly now one game behind Oakland in the division, the Raiders can’t slow up now.
