2011 NFL Week 12 on FOX: Bucs vs. Titans Spread, Odds & Totals

Bucs vs. Titans Week 12 Odds

NASHVILLE, TN (The Spread) – Two teams clinging onto fading playoff hopes will square off on Sunday when the Titans host the Bucs at 1:00PM ET.

TAMPA BAY: While the Bucs gave the Packers everything they could handle, Tampa eventually lost its fourth game in a row in a 35-26 defeat. That dropped the Bucs’ record to 4-6 on the year but improved their ATS record (4-6) as they covered the 14-point spread. Tampa Bay remains in third place in the NFC South as it sits three games behind first-place New Orleans and two games behind second-place Atlanta.

TENNESSEE: Subbing for the injured Matt Hasselbeck in the second half, rookie Jake Locker nearly led the Titans to a come-from-behind victory in Atlanta last week. But the Titans’ defense couldn’t come up with a big stop as the Falcons ran three minutes off the clock in the fourth quarter to seal a 23-17 victory. While Hasselbeck remains the starter according to head coach Mike Munchak, Locker gave the Titans something to think about after throwing for two touchdowns and sparking the punchless Tennessee offense. The Titans are now 5-5 on the year and remain two games back of Houston in the AFC South.
