Following our 2-2 effort last Sunday, we’re now 18-21-1 on the year. The Steelers won a battle with the Bengals and the Titans cruised to an outright win over favored Carolina to give us our two victories in Week 10, but the Browns and the 49ers/Giants under weren’t meant to be.
The Panthers haven’t covered in three of their last four games but it hasn’t been because of the effort of Cam Newton. Carolina has been solid as an underdog of seven or more points this season, covering as a 10.5-point dog versus Green Bay in Week 2 and as a 7-point road dog at Chicago in Week 4. They’ve been favored the past three weeks and are 1-2 against the number but now that they’re back to being a touchdown road dog, the value is back. Take Carolina.

Bills vs. Dolphins, 1:00PM ET
The spread is set right in this way based on the fact that Miami is 2-0 in its last two games and Buffalo has played terrible in its last two contests. But oddsmakers still seem to be overvaluing the Dolphins in this spot. The Bills still have the better overall talent and have something to play for, unlike the 2-7 Dolphins. Although Miami is the one playing with confidence right now, look for Buffalo to rebound with a big road win.
THE PICK: BUFFALO BILLS +3
Tampa Bay has been exposed for what it is: An average team with not enough explosive talent on offense to keep pace with high-scoring teams…like, say the Packers. Green Bay doesn’t look like a team that’s ready to slow down after its impressive 45-7 shackling of the Vikings on Monday Night Football. Look for Aaron Rodgers to have another big game and for Josh Freeman to struggle to make enough big plays to keep the game tight. Just make sure you get Green Bay at –14 because that line is available.
THE PICK: GREEN BAY PACKERS –14
Raiders vs. Vikings, 1:00PM ET
With Denver’s win over the Jets on Thursday night, this becomes a very big game for Oakland. The Raiders seized a one-game lead in the AFC West with their win over the Chargers last week and they can’t relinquish it now. According to latest NFL trends, the Vikings are 2-8-1 against the spread versus a team with a winning record and 1-4 ATS in their last five November games.
