Cowboys vs. Redskins Week 11 Odds
WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Spread) – NFC East rivals collide in Washington this Sunday when the Redskins host the Cowboys at 1:00PM ET.
DALLAS: The Cowboys have seemingly gotten back on the right track following their 34-7 loss to the Eagles three weeks ago. They soundly defeated the Seahawks 23-13 in Week 9 and then crushed the Bills 44-7 last Sunday. Their latest win has raised the Boys’ record to 5-4 on the year and put them one game behind the 6-3 Giants in the NFC North. Tony Romo has thrown for 2,508 yards on the year while DeMarco Murray (672 rushing yards) has taken over the Cowboys’ leading back.
WASHINGTON: The Redskins continue to be a mess offensively. Their 20-9 loss to the Dolphins last Sunday dropped their record to 3-6 on the year, with five of those six losses coming in their last five games. They’re now 3-6 against the spread and haven’t covered the number once in their five-game losing streak. Rex Grossman, who was benched for John Beck earlier in the year, is back as the team’s starter. Clearly Mike Shanahan doesn’t have a handle on his offense, which is floundering by the week now.
ODDS: Oddsmakers have installed the Cowboys as a 9-point favorite over the Redskins, while the over/under total for this game is currently sitting at 41.5 points. Dallas comes into this week with a 5-4 record overall and is 1-3 on the road, while Washington is 3-6 overall and 2-2 at home.
TRENDS: The under is 4-0-1 in the last five meetings between these two teams in Washington and 5-1 in the last six meetings overall. The Cowboys are 9-4 against the spread in their last 13 trips to Washington but 2-8 ATS in their last 10 meetings versus the Redskins overall. The road team is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings between these two teams but the underdog is 22-6 ATS in the last 28 meetings.
