2011 NFL Week 11: Bucs vs. Packers Point Spread Odds & Total

Bucs vs. Packers Week 11 Odds

GREEN BAY, WI (The Spread) – The Packers find themselves nearly a two-touchdown favorite when they host the struggling Bucs at 1:00PM ET on Sunday.

TAMPA BAY: The Bucs’ recent slide continued in Week 10 where the Texans shellacked them 37-9 in their home stadium. That dropped Tampa Bay’s record to 4-5 on the season and 3-6 against the spread. The Bucs have now lost three in a row following their 26-20 win over the Saints in Week 6 and coach Raheem Morris is left searching for answers to how to turn things around. The offense lacks playmakers and the defense has stumbled due to multiple injuries.

GREEN BAY: The Packers had no problems disposing the Vikings at home on Monday night. They notched their ninth victory over the season with a 45-7 win over a Minnesota team that was helpless to defense Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay passing attack. The Packers are now 9-0 on the year and with the way the defense played in Week 10, there’s talk about Green Bay potentially running the table. As long as they don’t overlook teams like the Bucs (who are struggling but who did win 10 games with essentially the same roster a year ago), the Pack have a realistic shot to finish 16-0. They have a ways to go to reach that point, however.

ODDS: Oddsmakers have installed the Packers as a 14-point favorite over the Bucs, while the over/under total for this game is currently sitting at 49 points. Tampa Bay comes into this week with a 4-5 record overall and is 1-2 on the road, while Green Bay is 9-0 overall and 4-0 at home.

TRENDS: The home team is 4-1 against the spread in the last five meetings between these two teams, although the Buccaneers are 8-3-1 against the number in their last 12 games versus the Pack. The under is 6-2 in the last eight meetings between these two teams in Green Bay and 13-6 in the last 19 meetings overall.
