2011 NFL Week 8 from Toronto: Redskins vs. Bills Point Spread & Odds

Redskins vs. Bills NFL Week 8 Odds

(The Spread) – Non-conference foes meet in Toronto on Sunday when the Bills host the Redskins at 4:05PM ET.

WASHINGTON: The Redskins’ 3-1 start is a distant memory after two straight losses the past two weeks. Rex Grossman was benched in a 20-13 loss to the Eagles in Week 6, but John Beck was unsuccessful in leading Washington to a win last Sunday when the Panthers defeated the Skins, 33-20. The team is now 3-3 and 3-3 against the spread and has a ton of injury issues on the offensive side of the ball, including Santana Moss’ broken left hand.

BUFFALO: Optimism is still sky high in Buffalo, although the Bills’ 27-24 loss to the Giants in Week 6 before their bye has left a bad taste in everyone’s mouths. That dropped Buffalo’s record to 4-2, which puts the Bills a game behind the Patriots in the AFC East. Ryan Fitzpatrick leads the team with 1,477 passing yards while Fred Jackson has a team-high 601 rushing yards and six touchdowns.

ODDS: Oddsmakers have installed the Bills as 6-point favorites over the Redskins, while the over/under total for this game is currently sitting at 45.5 points. The Redskins are 1-2 on the road this year while the Bills are 3-0 at home. (That said, this game will be played in Toronto so the teams’ home-loss records don’t necessarily apply to this contest.)

TRENDS: The Redskins are 0-4 against the spread in their last four games against the Bills and 0-4 ATS in their last four games following a bye week. Buffalo, meanwhile, is 5-1 ATS in its last six games following an ATS loss an d5-1 ATS in its last six games following a bye week.
