World Series Game 6 Odds
(The Spread) – Even though the Rangers are one win away from winning the 2011 World Series, the Cardinals find themselves favored in Game 6.
Oddsmakers have installed the host St. Louis Cardinals as –115 money line favorites over the Texas Rangers in Game 6 tonight at 8:05PM ET. The visiting Rangers are +108 on the money line despite being one victory shy of clinching their first Fall Classic title in franchise history. The over/under total for tonight’s contest is currently sitting at 7.5 runs.
The Cardinals opened as –120 money line favorites at the Las Vegas Hilton but their odds have steadily dropped since their loss in Game 5 on Monday night. The over/under total, however, has stayed locked in at 7.5 both in Vegas and offshore.

The Rangers will turn to Colby Lewis to close out the Cardinals in Game 6. Lewis pitched 6.2 innings of one-run ball in Game 2 when Texas came from one run down in the top of the ninth to win, 2-1. Lewis struck out four batters that night while walking two in his 96-pitch outing.
On the other side, the Cardinals will turn to Jaime Garcia to save their season. Garcia was lights out in Game 2, allowing zero runs on three hits over 7.0 innings of work. Jason Motte blew a save in the ninth, which cost Garcia the win in a 2-1 defeat. The left-handed starter from Reynosa struck out seven batters that night while walking just one in a fantastic 87-pitch outing.
The first pitch will be thrown at 8:05PM ET from Busch Stadium tonight, as the game will be shown on FOX.
