World Series Game 4 Odds
(The Spread) – A day after the Cardinals re-took the lead in the 2011 World Series, the Rangers will try to even things up again.
The Cardinals’ bats finally came alive in Game 3 on Saturday night, as St. Louis racked up 16 runs on 15 hits in a 16-7 victory. Albert Pujols went 5-for-6 with three home runs, six RBI and four runs scored in an epic World Series performance. Texas’ starter Matt Harrison lasted just 3.2 innings, allowing five runs on six hits while striking out three.
As the Fall Classic shifts to Game 4 on Sunday, the Rangers are -179 money line favorites over the Rangers, who are +168 on the ML. The over/under total for tonight’s 8:05PM ET start is currently sitting at 9.5 runs.

Edwin Jackson will take on Derek Holland in tonight’s pitching matchup. Jackson is 1-0 in the postseason, with two no decisions in his last two outings. In his last start versus Milwaukee in the NLCS, he lasted just two innings while allowing four runs on four hits in a 12-6 Cardinal victory.
Holland, meanwhile, has also earned two no decisions in his last two postseason starts. He allowed four runs on seven hits over 4.2 innings pitched in a 15-5 victory over the Tigers in the ALCS. Holland’s lone playoff win came in an 8-6 victory over the Rays in which he allowed three runs on six hits in 5.0 innings of work.
