Titans vs. Steelers Odds
(The Spread) – AFC opponents clash on Sunday when the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Tennessee Titans at 1:00PM ET.
These two teams are currently heading in different directions as the Titans are off to a 3-1 start this season and the Steelers are just 2-2 after losing to the Texans in Houston last week. Ben Roethlisberger suffered a foot injury in that game and while he’s expected to play this Sunday, he could be severely limited.
Oddsmakers have adjusted the spread for this game since it opened earlier this week. Once a 3.5-point opening favorite, the Steelers are now –3 as more public money pours in on the upstart Titans. Of the 5,000-plus wagers on this weekend’s game, 64% of NFL public bettors favor Tennessee plus the field goal.

Ironically, the Titans are 3-1 despite their best playmaker struggling early on. Running back Chris Johnson has rushed for only 199 yards on 69 carries this season. While many believe he’s yet to shake off the rust that stemmed from a lengthy holdout this offseason, Johnson says he’s fine and should get back to his normal production soon enough.
According to latest NFL trends, the over is 7-2 in the last nine meetings between these two teams in Pittsburgh, while the underdog is 7-1 against the spread in the last eight meetings between these two teams. The Steelers are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games but just 1-4 ATS in their last five overall.
Kickoff for this game is scheduled for 1:00PM ET on CBS.
