Eagles vs. Bills Odds
(The Spread) – The Philadelphia Eagles look to end their three-game skid when they take on the Buffalo Bills this Sunday at 1:00PM ET.
Despite the contrast in records, oddsmakers have installed the Eagles as 2-point road favorites against the Bills this weekend. The over/under total is currently sitting at 49.5 points as bookmakers clearly favor a high-scoring game with the Bills being involved.
In all four of Buffalo’s games this season, the combined score has gone over the total. The Bills have played two home games thus far and the score sailed over the total in each contest. In a 38-35 victory over the Raiders in Week 2, the total was set at 40.5 and in the Bills’ 34-31 win over the Patriots in Week 3, the total was set at 53.5.

Three of the Eagles’ four games have gone over the total as well. The lone exception was in Week 3 when Philadelphia lost a home game to the Giants, 29-16 when the total was set at 48 points. The Eagles certainly have enough weapons on offense in Michael Vick, DeSean Jackson, LeSean McCoy and Jeremy Maclin, but they’ve had major problems along the offensive line that has contributed to their 1-3 start. The defense hasn’t played as well as people expected either, especially after Philly nabbed the best free agent defender on the market in Nnamdi Asomugha.
According to latest NFL trends, the Eagles are 1-6 against the spread in their last seven games overall and 1-7 ATS in their last eight games as a favorite. They’re also 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games versus a team with a winning record and 0-7 in their last seven contests after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game. Meanwhile, the Bills are 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 as an underdog and 30-13-1 ATS versus a team with a losing record.
Kickoff for this game is set for 1:00PM ET on Sunday and will be shown on FOX.
