The Patriots are coming off a 34-31 loss to Buffalo last week. New England held a 21-0 lead early in the game. The game saw nearly 950 total yards of offense with New England racking up 495 yards on its own. Tom Brady threw for 387 yards and four touchdowns, but also had four interceptions. Defensively, New England struggled against the pass, giving up 369 yards to the Bills.
Oakland defeated the Jets 34-24 to get to 2-1 on the season last week. The Raiders were able to control the game on the ground through the legs of Darren McFadden, who rushed for 171 yards and two touchdowns in the win. On defense, the Raiders did allow 439 yards to the Jets, including 339 passing yards, but Oakland did force two turnovers and racked up four sacks on the day.
In terms of Injuries, New England tight end Aaron Hernandez is questionable with a knee injury while defensive tackle Alberty Haynesworth is questionable with a back injury. Oakland receiver Louis Murphy is doubtful with a hamstring injury while safety Michael Huff is questionable with a groin injury.
