Giants vs. Redskins Odds
WASHINGTON, DC (The Spread) โ Two bitter NFC East rivals will meet in the nationโs capital on Sunday as the Redskins host the Giants at 4:15PM ET on FOX.
The New York Giants were 10-6 last season but came up shy of a wild card spot in the playoffs due to a tiebreaker. The Redskins were 6-10 last season and didnโt contend for the playoffs at all. The Giants have won the last six meetings in this series and covered in four of the last games.
Trends show that the over has hit in 7 of the last 10 games in this series that were played in Washington. The Giants are 2-10 against the spread in their last 12 games on grass while Washington is just 6-14-2 in their last 22 home games.

New York scored 24.6 points and averaged 380 yards of offense per game. The Giants had one of the top offenses in the league, but turnovers were a factor on the year. Quarterback Eli Manning threw for 4,002 yards and 31 touchdowns last season, but also had 25 interceptions. On defense, the Giants gave up 21.7 points and 310 yards per game. They did limit opponents to just 101 rushing yards per game.
Washington struggled offensively last season, averaging just 18.9 points per game. The Redskins went through some quarterback issues but ultimately went with Rex Grossman to end the year and now start this season. Grossman threw for just 884 yards and seven touchdowns in just five games. He has 40 touchdowns and 40 interceptions in his career. On defense, Washington gave up 23.6 points and just under 390 yards per game. The Skins were beat for 261 passing yards per game last season as well.
In terms of Injuries, New York defensive ends Justin Tuck and Osi Umenyiora are both questionable to play with differing injuries. Umenyiora is not expected to play. Washington running back Ryan Torain will miss the game because of a wrist injury while safety LaRon Landry is out with a knee injury.
