2011-12 NFL Regular Season Win Totals
(The Spread) – How many wins will the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers have this season?
Oddsmakers have released win totals and over/unders for all 32 NFL teams for the 2011-12 NFL season. And after winning the Super Bowl last year despite only winning 10 games in the regular season, the Packers have an over/under win total of 11.5 games. Of course, Green Bay was ravaged by injuries last year, which contributed to the team only winning 10 games and barely qualifying for the postseason.
The talk of the offseason this year has been the Philadelphia Eagles. Andy Reid’s team went out and signed the biggest name on the free agent market this season in cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha, and will pair him with either Asante Samuel or the newly acquired Dominque Rodgers-Cromartie (trade/Cardinals). The team also signed running back Ronnie Brown, quarterback Vince Young, and defensive end Jason Babin off the free agent market and now has an over/under win total of 10.5 games for 2011.

The New England Patriots have also been active this summer while trading for defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth (Redskins) and receiver Chad Ochocinco (Bengals). New England’s roster is once again chockfull of talent and oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog know it. They list the Pats’ over/under for wins this year t 11.5, with the over possessing –130 juice.
A couple of other noteworthy teams that could be in the Super Bowl mix this year are the Jets (o/u 10 wins), Saints (o/u 10), Falcons (o/u 10.5), Ravens (o/u 10.5), Cowboys (o/u 9), Colts (9.5) and Buccaneers (8). The defending AFC champion Pittsburgh Steelers have an over/under win total of 10.5, with –125 juice coming with the over.
