After leading the Packers to a Super Bowl victory over the Steelers in January, quarterback Aaron Rodgers is currently listed as an 11/2 favorite to win the 2011 NFL MVP award. In just his third year as a starter, Rodgers threw for 3,922 yards, 28 touchdowns and just 11 interceptions last season. He also compiled a QB rating of 101.2.

Unsurprisingly, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning have the next best odds to take home this year’s MVP award. The Patriots’ star QB has 13/2 odds to win, while Manning is 15/2 according to oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog. Brady won the award last year (the second of his career), while Manning took home the MVP in 2009, which was the third of his career.

After resurrecting his career last season following a stint in federal prison, Michael Vick is 17/2 to win this year’s NFL MVP award. Vick was the comeback player of the year last season while leading the Eagles to a playoff berth. He threw for 3,018 yards and 21 touchdowns under Andy Reid’s guidance, while also rushing for 676 yards and nine scores.

Saints quarterback Drew Brees and Chargers signal caller Philip Rivers have 10/1 odds to win the NFL MVP award, respectively. Brees threw for 4,620 yards last season and 33 touchdowns, but his interception total raised from 11 in 2010 to 22 in 2011. Despite not having No. 1 receiver Vincent Jackson to throw to for much of the season, Rivers racked up a career-high 4,710 passing yards and 30 touchdowns for San Diego last season.

Titans’ running back Chris Johnson (16/1), Steelers’ quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (18/1), Falcons’ signal caller Matt Ryan (18/1) and Vikings’ bruiser Adrian Peterson (20/1) round out the top 10 in terms of odds, although Texans’ QB Matt Schaub, Jaguars’ RB Maurice Jones-Drew and Dallas QB Tony Romo all have 10/1 odds as well.
