NFL Week 16 Las Vegas Odds
Las Vegas has released its odds for the 16th Week of the 2010-11 NFL Season and this week’s games has a number of matchups with playoff implications.
The big game this week is in the NFC South where the Atlanta Falcons host the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night. The Falcons need a win to lock up the best record in the NFC and the No. 1 seed in the playoffs while the Saints need a win to keep their hopes of winning the division alive. The MGM Mirage in Las Vegas have made the Falcons a 3-point favorite at home for this game against the Saints. The over/under odds have been set at 48.5.
Another big game is the Green Bay Packers hosting the New York Giants on Sunday. Those two teams are battling for the final playoff spot in the NFC and the winner would have the leg up. If the Giants win, the Packers will be eliminated from the playoffs while a Packers win would have the two teams even at 9-6, but the Packers would hold the head-to-head tiebreaker. Due to the concussion issues with Aaron Rodgers, odds have yet to be released for the game until his status for the contest is known.
