Browns vs. Dolphins Odds

MIAMI, FL (TheSpread) – The Miami Dolphins are looking to stay in the playoff hunt when they host the Cleveland Browns in Week 13 of the NFL Season.

The Browns are 4-7 on the year and just 1-4 on the road while Miami is 6-5 on the season and 1-4 at home. Trends show that the Browns are 1-5 against the spread in their last six games on grass while Miami is 4-1 ATS in their last five against the AFC.

Oddsmakers from online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL have made Miami a 5-point favorite at home against the Browns on Sunday. The over/under has been set at 43. (View Matchup)

Opening odds had Miami favored by 4.5 points. The spread dropped to 4 during the week before settling in at 5. The over/under total opened at 43 and dipped to 42.5 before returning to 43 points to close.

Miami has alternated wins and losses over their last eight games with the Dolphins beating Oakland last weekend on the road. The Dolphins average just 18.6 points per game offensively but are holding opponents to 20.5 points per game. Miami has struggled to run the ball effectively this season as it averages just 105.9 yards per game on the ground. To beat Cleveland, Miami will need more from Ronnie Brown, who has just 539 yards rushing and three scores this season.

Cleveland ended a two-game losing streak last week by beating Carolina 24-23 at home. The Browns have won three of their last five games altogether. On the year, Cleveland is averaging 19.6 points per game while giving up 20.8 points per game on defense. The Browns have been led by breakout back Peyton Hillis, who has 905 rushing yards with 11 touchdowns and 46 receptions for 414 yards and two scores.

In terms of injuries, Cleveland quarterbacks Seneca Wallace and Colt McCoy are both questionable with ankle injuries, meaning Jake Delhomme gets the start. For Miami, receiver Brandon Marshall is probable to play after missing last week’s game with a bad hamstring.

Over 13,000 public bets have been placed on this game and Cleveland is getting 55% of the wagers at +5 over Miami on Sunday.
