NASHVILLE, TN (TheSpread) – The Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans are still in the hunt for the AFC South title, but both teams need a win when they meet on Sunday.

Jacksonville is 6-5 on the year and 2-3 on the road while Tennessee is 5-6 overall and 2-3 at home. Trends show that the Jaguars are just 1-4 against the spread in their last five games in Tennessee and the under has hit in 4 of the last 5 games in this series.

Opening odds haven’t change since the spread opened at Tennessee -3 and the over/under was set at 43.5.

Jacksonville is coming off a 24-20 loss to the Giants last week, but the Jaguars had won three straight prior to that. The Jaguars are averaging 334.9 yards per game on offense, including 141.8 yards per game rushing. Maurice Jones-Drew has rushed for 991 yards and four touchdowns on the year and has been the driving force behind their recent surge in play.

Tennessee is in the midst of a free fall as the Titans have lost four straight games, three of which have come by at least 8 points. The Titans are averaging just 298.1 yards per game on offense and only 180.5 passing yards per game. Chris Johnson is leading the team with 973 yards rushing and nine touchdowns while Kerry Collins has thrown for 638 yards and five scores.

In terms of injuries, Jacksonville receiver Mike Sims-Walker is out for Sunday’s game with an ankle injury while Tennessee defensive tackle Tony Brown is questionable with a knee injury.
