NFL Week 10 Odds
Want action right out of the gates in Week 10? Try a non-conference bout between two 6-2 teams on Thursday night. Check out the odds for the Ravens-Falcons game, as well as all of the point spreads for Week 10 in the NFL.
In the NFL’s kickoff of Thursday night games, oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made the Falcons 1-point home favorites against the visiting Ravens. The over/under total for that game opened at 43 points.
Atlanta and Baltimore mirror each other in so many ways. Both teams have quarterbacks in their third year that are knocking on the door of elite status. Both teams can run the ball and both teams have solid No. 1 wideouts in Anquan Boldin and Roddy White, respectively. Both teams can also play stingy defense at times, although secondary issues loom large as well.
Should be a great game and a great way to kick off the Week 10 schedule.
In other Week 10 action, the Monday Night Football game should be a barnburner as well, as Donovan McNabb hosts his former team. Oddsmakers have installed the Redskins as 3-point home underdogs, although they beat the Eagles in Philadelphia earlier this season.
Of course, the story out of Washington these days is McNabb’s status under Mike Shanahan. He was benched by his head coach at the conclusion of the Skins’ loss to Detroit two weeks ago, even though Washington was within one score of tying the game. Two days later, Shanahan brought in JaMarcus Russell for a tryout, which begged even more questions about McNabb’s status in our nation’s capital.
However, Shanahan has stated that McNabb is still his guy and if the Redskins want to keep pace in the NFC East, they’ll need a big home win against their division rivals on Monday night. Michael Vick and company is playing some good football at the moment, so it won’t be easy.
