Oddsmakers from online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL have made the Seahawks a 5.5-point favorite at home against Arizona. The over/under has been set at 40.5.
The opening odds had Seattle as a 4.5-point favorite but has since climbed up to 5.5. The over/under started at 41 and has since dropped a hook to move to 40.5.
Seattle has alternated wins and losses each week and is coming off a 23-20 win over Chicago on the road last week. Seattle has allowed 20 points in all of their last three games. Matt Hasselbeck has thrown for 1,056 yards and five touchdowns on the season while Lawyer Milloy has led the defense with 32 tackles and three sacks.
Arizona has also alternated wins and losses through their first five games. The Cardinals are coming off a bye week but Arizona has given up 41 points in their two losses. Max Hall stepped into the starting lineup two weeks ago and threw for 253 yards in a win over New Orleans. The Arizona defense has been led by Paris Lenon, who has 43 tackles and two interceptions on the year.
Trends favor Arizona in this game as the Cardinals are 4-0 against the spread in the last five meetings with the Seahawks. The Cards are also 11-3 ATS in their last 14 as an underdog while Seattle is just 3-13 ATS in their last 16 games following a straight up win.
Seattle tackle Chester Pitts is questionable for Sunday’s game with a knee injury while Arizona receiver Steve Breaston is questionable with a knee injury as well.
