Friday’s NHL Prediction

It is a big surprising to see Chicago and Columbus at the bottom of the Central Division standings, but both teams are looking to get a needed win on Friday when they square off.

Bet NHL Odds

The defending Stanley Cup Champions are just 1-2-1 on the season with the lone win coming on the road. The Blackhawks have allowed 13 goals in four games.

Columbus is 1-1-0 on the season with their lone win also coming on the road. The Blue Jackets have scored five goals and allowed five in two games.

Here is a look at the trends and my pick for Friday night’s game.

Chicago Blackhawks vs. Columbus Blue Jackets, 7PM ET

Trends favor the road tem in this game, the Blackhawks as Chicago is 13-3 in their last 16 games as an underdog and 13-3 in their last 16 games as a road underdog.

Columbus is just 1-4 in their last five home games and 1-5 in their last six games against the Western Conference.

Chicago is still a strong team on paper and getting a chance to take them as an underdog is just too good to pass up. I like the Blackhawks to win tonight.
