Titans vs. Cowboys Free Pick
Fresh off their bye, the Cowboys will host the Titans at 4:15PM ET in Dallas on Sunday. Read on to check out our free pick for this Week 5 matchup.
Before we get to our free pick, let’s first take a look at the current odds.
Oddsmakers from online sports book BroburySports.com have made the Cowboys 7-point favorites over the Titans in Week 5. The over/under total for this game is currently 42.5 points.
After losing to the Broncos at home last week, Tennessee dropped to 2-2 on the year and currently are 2-2 against the spread. The Titans are 1-0 on the road this year, however, as they beat and covered as an underdog against the Giants in Week 3.
Dallas earned its first win of the year in Week 3 by beating Houston as a road underdog. They’ll look to get back to .500 on the year with a win over the Titans, although the Cowboys are 1-2 against the spread this year, which includes a 0-1 ATS record at home.
The Free Pick:
The Titans have struggled with inconsistency this year and while it would be tempting to pick them and take the points, the play here is the Cowboys. Dallas is 5-1 against the spread in their last six games following a bye week and 4-1 ATS in their last five games after accumulating more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.
I think we’ll see a similar Dallas team that went down to Houston and beat the Texans in Week 3, rather than the putrid mess that played Washington and Chicago the first two weeks. I think they’ll build off the momentum they created in their win over the Texans and my pick is the ‘Boys –7.
