Broncos vs. Ravens Odds
The Baltimore Ravens look to keep their place on top of the AFC North standings in Week 5 of the 2010 NFL Season as they host the Denver Broncos.
Baltimore is 3-1 on the season while Denver is 2-2 heading into this game, which will be played Sunday at 1PM ET from M&T Bank Stadium. The game will air on CBS. The Ravens have never lost at home to the Broncos in their history.
Oddsmakers from online sportsbook BroburySports.com have made Baltimore a 7-point favorite at home against the Broncos. The over/under has been set at 39.5.
The opening line was the Ravens -7 and the highest the odds got were -7.5, but they have since settled in at -7. The over/under was as low as 38.5 at one point, but is now at 39.5.
The Ravens are 3-1 this season having won their last two, including a 17-14 win at Pittsburgh last weekend. Joe Flacco has thrown for 920 yards and five touchdowns while Ray Rice has rushed for 230 yards. Anquan Boldin has caught 27 passes for 355 yards and three touchdowns.
The Broncos are 2-2 this season, having rotated wins and losses each week. Last week Denver beat Tennessee 26-20 on the road. The Broncos are averaging nearly 400 yards of offense per game as Kyle Orton has thrown for 1,419 yards and six touchdowns. He is averaging 354 passing yards per game. The rushing game has struggled this year as Knowshon Moreno has just 111 yards on the ground through four games. Brandon Lloyd has caught 25 passes for 454 yards while Eddie Royal has 25 catches for 299 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, the Broncos are giving up 21.3 points per game and have just four sacks on the season. D.J. Williams leads the team with 30 tackles and two sacks.
The trends back Denver in this game as the Broncos are 4-0 against the spread in their last four in October and 4-1 ATS in their last five against a team with a winning record. The Ravens are just 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games after a cover and 2-7 ATS in their last nine games on fieldturf.
Moreno will miss Sunday’s game for the Broncos with a hamstring injury while Champ Bailey is questionable with an injured leg. Baltimore has Ray Rice listed as probable with a knee injury while Willis McGahee is questionable with a head injury.
There have been over 14,700 bets made on this game by the public and the Ravens are getting 55% of the wagers at -7 against the Broncos.
