Giants vs. Texans Odds
Sunday is a turning point game for the Giants and the Texans in Week 5 as both can’t afford another loss for various reasons.
New York comes into the game at 2-2 while Houston is 3-1. This game will be played at 1PM ET from Reliant Stadium and will air on FOX. These two teams have only met twice with the home team winning each contest.
Oddsmakers from online sportsbook Sportsbook.com have made the Texans a 3-point favorite at home against the Giants. The over/under has been set at 47.5.

Arian Foster continues to surprise this season as he has 537 yards rushing and four touchdowns while catching 11 passes for 152 yards. Matt Schaub has thrown for 1,037 yards and seven touchdowns while Andre Johnson has caught 19 passes for 255 yards and a score. Bernard Pollard is leading the defense with 41 tackles while Mario Williams has 5 sacks.
The Giants are 2-2 this season with wins over Chicago and Carolina. The Giants amassed 10 sacks in last week’s win over the Bears, but the offense continues to struggle, averaging just 18 points per game. Eli Manning has thrown for 1,005 yards and five touchdowns while Ahmad Bradshaw has rushed for 382 yards and three touchdowns. Hakeem Nicks has 21 receptions for 279 yards and four touchdowns while the defense is led by Justin Tuck, who has 26 tackles with three sacks. Osi Umenyiora and Mathias Kiwanuka each have four sacks on the year as well.
Trends favor Houston in this contest as the Texans are 4-1-1 against the spread in their last 6 games overall and 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven games on grass. The Giants are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games on grass and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 against a team with a winning record.
Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw is questionable for this game with an ankle injury while linebacker Keith Bulluck has been ruled out with a toe injury. The Texans could be without defensive end Mario Williams, as he has a groin issue while wide receiver Jacoby Jones is doubtful to play with a calf injury.
Just under 11,300 bets have been made on this game with the Texans getting 74% of them -3 against the Giants.
