NFL Week 5 Trends Report
Before placing any wagers on Week 5 in the NFL, make sure you check out some of the key trends in this Sunday’s slate of action.

The underdog is 4-1 against the spread in the last five meetings between the Jaguars and Bills. Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made the Bills a 1-point home underdog in this matchup.
Kansas City is just 2-7 against the spread in their last nine meetings with the Colts, whom oddsmakers have made a 7-point favorite against the surprising 3-0 Chiefs.
The total has fallen under in four of the last five meetings between the Buccaneers and the Bengals. Oddsmakers have made Cincinnati a 6.5-point favorite, while the over/under is currently sitting at 38.
The Packers are 3-0-1 against the spread in their last four meetings with the Redskins, while the favorite is 3-0-1 against the number in the last four games between these two teams. Oddsmakers currently list Green Bay as a 2.5-point road favorite.
The Lions are 1-7 against the spread in their last eight games after accumulating more than 250 yards passing in their previous game. Detroit is a 3-point favorite against the Rams in Week 6.
The Bears are 1-3-1 against the spread in their last five meetings with the Panthers, but the underdog is 3-1-1 ATS in the last five games between these two teams. The Bears opened as a 2-point favorite but are now a 1-point underdog because Jay Cutler isn’t starting.
The Giants are just 2-8 against the spread in their last 10 games versus a team with a winning record, while the Texans are 4-1-1 against the number int heir last six games in October. The Texans are currently a 3-point home favorite.
The under is 4-0 in the last four meetings between the Broncos and Ravens, while the home team is 4-1 against the spread in the last five games between these two teams. The Broncos are also 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight games with the Ravens, and 0-4 ATS in their last four visits to Baltimore. The Raves are currently a 7-point favorite.
The Falcons are just 1-5 against the spread in their last six games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game. The Browns are 4-0 against the number in their last four games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game. Atlanta is currently a 3-point road favorite.
The Saints are 5-1 against the spread in their last six meetings with the Cardinals, who are currently a 6.5-point home underdog according to Oddsmakers.
The Titans are 0-4 against the spread in their last four games in October, while the Cowboys are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games following a bye. Dallas is currently a 7-point home favorite this week.
The Chargers are 7-1 against the spread in their last eight meetings with the Raiders and are 11-3 against the number in their last 14 meetings overall. The favorite is also 10-3 ATS in the last 13 meetings, while the over is 3-1-1. San Diego is currently listed as a 6-point road favorite, while the over/under is 45 points.
The Eagles are 4-0 against the spread in their last four meetings with the 49ers, but the favorite is 4-0 ATS in the last four overall meetings. The over is 5-1 in the last six meetings between these two teams. The 49ers are currently a 3-point favorite over Kevin Kolb and the Eagles on Sunday Night Football.
The Vikings are 5-0 against the spread in their last five games in Week 5, while the Jets are 1-5 against the number in their last six Monday night games. The Jets are currently 3.5-point favorites over the Vikings for this Monday Night Football matchup.
