Steelers vs. Bucs Odds

The 2-0 Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the surprising 2-0 Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday. Let’s take a look at the point spread odds for this Week 3 matchup.

Bet Steelers vs. Bucs Odds

Game Preview:

The Steelers have relied on their running game and defense to get by without quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who still must serve two more games of a four-game suspension to start the year. The Steelers’ defense has been outstanding in each of the first two weeks and is coming off a game in which they forced seven turnovers in a win over the Titans last Sunday. Charlie Batch will start in place of Dennis Dixon and Pittsburgh hopes to get a little more out of its passing game then the first two weeks.

The Bucs are playing with a ton of confidence right now after wins over the Browns and NFC South rival Carolina. That said, they’ll be without safety Tanard Jackson for this matchup after he was suspended indefinitely earlier this week. At least for one week, they probably won’t miss Jackson’s presence in the secondary as Pittsburgh isn’t expected to put the ball in the air too many times on Sunday.

Line Movement & Updated Odds:

The Bucs opened as 2.5-point underdogs this Sunday against the Steelers and oddsmakers from online sports book BroburySports.com currently have Tampa listed as a 2.5-point dog. The over/under total is now 33 after opening at 33.5.
