Before checking out the full Week 3 injury report, here are the most pressing injuries that you should keep an eye on for this weekend’s NFL action.

Duane Brown, LT, Texans

This one isn’t an injury, but a suspension. Either way – it’s big. Brown protects Matt Schaub’s blindspot and without him this Sunday against the Cowboys, Dallas’ OLB DeMarcus Ware could have a huge day rushing the passer. Brown was suspended four games for violating the league’s substance abuse policy and even though oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made Houston a 3-point favorite, keep in mind that this could affect Sunday’s outcome.

Michael Turner, RB, Falcons

Despite leaving the Falcons’ 41-7 blowout win over the Cardinals last Sunday early in the second quarter, Turner fully participated in practice at the end of the week and is expected to play against the Saints. Barring a setback, the groin injury he suffered last weekend shouldn’t be a problem in New Orleans.

Ryan Mathews, RB, Chargers

Mathews suffered a high ankle sprain in the Chargers’ win over the Jaguars last Sunday and is unlikely to play this week. That means Mike Tolbert will get the lion’s share of the carries for San Diego, who is in Seattle this Sunday.

Percy Harvin, WR, Vikings

Despite missing some practice time early this week due to a hip injury and reoccurring migraines, Harvin says he’s “feeling great” and should play this Sunday against the Lions. The Vikings are 10.5-point favorites against Detroit this weekend.

Beanie Wells, RB, Cardinals

Wells missed the last two weeks due to a knee injury, but head coach Ken Whisenhunt confirmed earlier this week that Beanie will make his 2010 debut this Sunday against the Raiders. Arizona is a 4.5-point home favorite over Oakland this weekend.

Darrelle Revis, CB, Jets

After suffering a hamstring injury in last weekend’s win over the Patriots, Revis will not play Sunday night against division rival Miami. In fact, he won’t even make the flight so there’s zero chance that he will play. In other Jets’ injury report news, Calvin Pace (foot) has been ruled out as well.
