Game Preview:

These two teams went in opposite directions to start the year, as the Bengals were embarrassed in New England and the Ravens earned a big road victory against the Jets. Cincinnati’s defense had a ton of trouble slowing down Tom Brady and the rest of the Patriots’ offense, while Baltimore overcame multiple turnovers in the first half to top New York, 10-9.

The Bengals know they can’t start the season 0-2 if they’re going to defend their division crown. There’s nothing that will shake the confidence of a team faster then dropping the first two games of the season, especially when one of those games is at home against a division rival. On the flip side, if the Ravens can being the year 2-0 and get a division win, they’re going to be in great shape heading forward.
