5/25/10 Indianapolis 500 Odds – Will Power 6-1 To Win

Will Power is hoping that a good start to the 2010 IRL Season will mean a big finish in the

Indianapolis 500 on Sunday.

Power leads the current IRL standings by 26 points over the rest of the field as he has two victories and four top 5’s in 2010.

Oddsmakers from online sports book BroburySports.com currently list Power at 6/1 to win the 2010 Indy 500. Helio Castroneves, who won the pole on Saturday, is the current favorite at 5/2 and Scott Dixon is 7/2 to win.

Power has competed in just two

Indianapolis 500s and his best finish was fifth, which came in 2009. Power will start second this Sunday as he seeks his fourth career win. Power has driven in the IRL for three seasons, but this year is just his second year driving full-time. He has eight top 10’s in his IRL career in 23 races.
