Women’s Super Combo
The Women’s Super Combined Alpine Skiing Event tests skiers in slalom and downhill, and is one of the opening events of the 2010 Winter Olympics.
The combined event consists of one downhill run followed by one slalom run using a shorter course. The times are added together. The fastest total time determines the winner.
2009 world champion in the slalom, Maria Riesch, is favored to win this event.
Riesch has odds of 7/4 to win the gold medal in this event according to online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com. Other short odds to win are Anja Parson (7/2), Lindsey Vonn (15/4), and Kathrin Zettel (11/2).
