Oddsmakers from online sports book Brobury Sports.com have made the NFC a 2.5-point favorite over the AFC on Sunday. The over/under total for this game has been set at 56.5 points.

The NFC has been on a roll of late, winning three of the last four Pro Bowls and four of the last six. Last year, Cardinals’ receiver Larry Fitzgerald led the 2.5-point underdog NFC squad to an exciting 30-21 victory. The combined score in that game went under the posted total of 65.5 points.

In 2008, the NFC beat the AFC 42-20 as a 3-point underdog, while the combined score sailed over the posted total of 62.5 points. And in 2007, the AFC beat the NFC 31-28 but failed to cover as 3.5-point favorites. The combined score went under the posted total of 64 points in that contest.

Some of the big names that headline the AFC roster are quarterbacks Philip Rivers and Tom Brady, player of the year award winner Chris Johnson, receivers Andre Johnson and Reggie Wayne, as well as defenders Elvis Dumervil, Brian Cushing, Ray Lewis and Darrelle Revis.

Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers headline the NFC roster, as well as Adrian Peterson, Steven Jackson, Larry Fitzgerald and Vernon Davis. Defensively, Jared Allen, Julius Peppers, Charles Woodson, Patrick Willis and DeMarcus Ware are just some of the defenders that will play for the NFC this season.

The 2010 NFL Pro Bowl will take place live at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, FL on Sunday, January 31 at 7:30PM ET. Odds are below.
