Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com made the Colts a 7.5-point opening favorite over the Jets on Sunday. But the line has since risen to Indianapolis –8 and the point spread is even as high as –9 at some sports books. The over/under total opened at 41, then dropped to 39 and now it’s back up to 40.

This isn’t the first meeting of the season between these two teams. The Jets beat the Colts 29-15 as a 4-point underdog in Week 15, although Indianapolis pulled most of its starters in the second half. Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark, among others, didn’t finish the game as head coach Jim Caldwell wanted his starters rested for the players.
