Vegas Wild Card Odds
The 2010 NFL Playoffs kick off this Saturday and Sunday and Las Vegas has officially released the point spread odds and over/under totals for the Wild Card Round.
The Wild Card weekend kicks off with a Week 17 rematch between the New York Jets and the Cincinnati Bengals. After blowing the Bengals out in the regular season finale, Mark Sanchez and the Jets find themselves as a small 3-point underdog entering Saturday’s game. The over/under total for this first round matchup has been set at 34 points.
In the second game of Saturday’s double-header, NFC East rivals the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys will clash at 8:00PM ET. After crushing their division counterparts in the season finale, Dallas has opened as a 4-point favorite over Philadelphia despite their struggles in the postseason this decade.
On Sunday, Ray Rice, Joe Flacco, Ray Lewis and the rest of the Baltimore Ravens will take on the New England Patriots in Foxboro – a place they lost at earlier in the season. The Patriots are 3.5-point favorites over the Ravens, but will have to overcome the loss of receiver Wes Welker, who injured his knee in a Week 17 loss to the Houston Texans.
The weekend is capped off with yet another Week 17 rematch, as the Arizona Cardinals host the Green Bay Packers at 4:40PM ET. Kurt Warner will have to deal with the potential loss of receiver Anquan Boldin, who hurt himself in Arizona’s loss to Green Bay in Week 17.
Aaron Rodgers and company are 2-point underdogs entering Sunday’s game, while the over/under total rests at 47.5. The Cardinals will certainly be tested by the Packers’ explosive passing attack, which features Rodgers and receivers Donald Driver and Greg Jennings.
