Bengals beat Steelers outright as underdogs

The Cincinnati Bengals have sole possession of the AFC North after beating the Pittsburgh Steelers, 18-12 on Sunday. The Bengals also scored a big win for bettors, winning outright as a 7-point underdog. The under 38 also covered with ease, as both teams had to settle for field goals throughout the game.

The Colts shock the Patriots, but New England covers

The Indianapolis Colts used a 17-point fourth quarter comeback to beat the New England Patriots, 35-34 thanks in large part to a horrible decision by head coach Bill Belichick to go for it on 4^th and 2 on his own 28-yard line. The Patriots failed to convert and Peyton Manning and the Colts drove the short field and put it in the end zone for the victory. Despite the win, the Colts failed to cover as a 2-point favorite.

Packers upset Cowboys at home

The Green bay Packers surprised many pundits by beating the Cowboys 17-7 one week after losing to the previously winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Green Bay’s defense stepped up as the Pack covered as a 3-point home underdog. The under 48 easily covered in this game.

Seahawks blow chance to help bettors

Matt Hasselbeck and the Seattle Seahawks lost 31-20 to the Arizona Cardinals as a 9-point underdog. The Seahawks had two opportunities to cover late in the fourth quarter, but Hasselbeck made two horrible decisions and turned the ball over. The over 46.5 hit midway through the third quarter after the Cardinals struck for some big runs.
