EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (The Spread) – Who will get on the board first in Super Bowl XLVIII on Sunday? Get a look at the prop odds for the opening touchdown.

Sunday’s Super Bowl features the Denver Broncos taking on the Seattle Seahawks from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ at 6:30PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Denver is a 2-point favorite over the Seahawks for Sunday’s game. The over/under total for the game has been set at 47 points.

When it comes to the first score in the game, oddsmakers think Marshawn Lynch is the favorite to score the opening touchdown, as he has 11/2 odds. Other short odds are Wes Welker (13/2) while Eric Decker and Julius Thomas each have 8/1 odds.

During the season, Lynch recorded 14 touchdowns. Of the 14, 12 came from rushing and two came from the pass. He has scored three rushing touchdowns in the postseason. When it comes to the Denver receiving options, Julius Thomas has 12 touchdowns catches, while Decker caught 11 and Welker had 10.

There are also odds for what will be the first score. The odds are backing a Broncos TD pass, which has 3/1 odds. The other short odds are a Denver FG (7/2) and a Seattle FG (15/4).
