The Patriots lost at Baltimore earlier this season, and Welker caught eight passes for 142 yards in that game. He has had at least 8 receptions in eight of the 17 games played this season. He has also had at least 91 receiving yards in eight of the 17 games.

The Ravens have an average passing defense, allowing an average of 228.1 yards per game through the air this season. That put Baltimore 17^th in the NFL for passing yards allowed. The Ravens allowed Peyton Manning to throw for 290 yards last week and the Colts’ Andrew Luck threw for 288 yards on Baltimore two weeks back. Certainly, you would expect Tom Brady to have some success against this passing defense, but will Welker be part of that success?
