(The Spread) – The updated odds are out for the 2013 Sprint Cup Championship and Jimmie Johnson remains favorite to win this year’s NASCAR title.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Johnson is a 7/5 favorite while Kyle Busch has the next best odds at 11/2. Kasey Kahne, meanwhile, is 7/1, as is Matt Kenseth, while Carl Edwards is 12/1 and Clint Bowyer is 15/1.
Continuing with the current odds, Brad Keselowski, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon and Kevin Harvick are all 20/1, respectively, to win the 2013 Sprint Cup Championship. Martin Truex Jr. is 22/1, Greg Biffle is 25/1 and Ryan Newman is 28/1. The biggest long shots are Joey Logano at 33/1 and Jamie McMurray at 66/1.
Johnson is your current points leader at 808. He also has four wins, the same number as Kenseth, who is seventh in the standings with 634 points. Bowyer is second in the standings with 733 points despite not having any wins on the season, while Edwards is third with 728 points and one win. Harvick (707 points, two wins) and Busch (693 points, three wins) round out the top 5.
Earnhardt Jr., meanwhile, is sixth with 670 points, while Keselowski is eight with 634 points and one victory. Biffle at 627 points and Truex at 625 points round out the current top 10.
