Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have made Falcons’ quarterback Matt Ryan a favorite to throw for the most passing yards in today’s 1:00PM ET games at 2/1 odds. The Lions’ Matthew Stafford has the next best odds at 7/2 while Cowboys’ quarterback Tony Romo is 9/2.
Continuing with the odds, rookie quarterback Andrew Luck of the Colts is 11/2 to throw for the most passing yards in Week 6’s 1:00PM ET games, while Baltimore’s Joe Flacco is 7/1. Andy Dalton of the Bengals is 8/1, Michael Vick of the Eagles is 10/1 and Josh Freeman of the Buccaneers is the long shot at 12/1.
Ryan has the best matchup out of all the quarterbacks listed, as he’ll take on the Oakland Raiders at home. Stafford is in Philadelphia against a very good Eagle defense, while Romo will play at Baltimore against a stingy Ravens’ secondary. Luck is also on the road today, as he and the Colts are in New York to face the Jets.
Flacco will oppose Romo and the Dallas defense, while Dalton is on the road against Cleveland so he might be a long shot worth taking a look at. Vick, meanwhile, hasn’t thrown for a lot of yards over the first five weeks of the season but he has a good matchup against a weak Detroit secondary. Freeman, meanwhile, is at home against Kansas City.
