LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – Even a loss over the weekend to the Nets couldn’t derail the Heat’s chances to win the 2014 NBA Finals championship.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Heat remain the clear favorites to win this year’s NBA Finals title at 6/5 odds. The Spurs have the next-best odds at 2/1, while the Thunder are 6/1 and the Pacers are 8/1. The Clippers, meanwhile, are 9/1, while the Nets are 50/1, the Wizards are 150/1 and the Trailblazers have the worst odds at 250/1.
The Heat currently own a two-games-to-one lead in their best-of-seven series with the Nets, with Game 4 coming up tonight in Brooklyn at 8:00PM ET. Miami is listed as a 2-point road favorite tonight, with the total sitting at 188 points.
As for the Spurs, they can close out the Trailblazers at 10:30PM ET in Game 4. They’re currently up three-games-to-none in that best-of-seven series and are 4-point road favorites tonight. San Antonio has also cashed in at the betting window during its current run, as it’s 5-0 against the spread in its last five games versus Portland.
The Pacers can also close out the Wizards on Tuesday night in Indiana at 7:00PM ET. Indiana is currently a 5-point favorite in that Game 5, while the over/under total is sitting at 180.5 points. The Thunder are also a 5.5-point favorite over the Clippers at 9:30PM ET, as that series is currently sitting at two games apiece.
