With the 2008 College Football Season kicking off this weekend, it’s time to take a look at the top 15 passing offenses in the country.
There are a couple of things bettors can learn for top passing programs. One, is that these teams have the ability to score quickly because they can move down the field more efficiently through the air.
Another thing to note is that if a team is efficiently through the air, they probably don’t eat a lot of clock, so the over is often a smart play.
Finally, good passing teams usually score easier, and thus their defense is on the field more. Again, the over is often a smart play because these teams can not only score, but their defense is on the field a lot and therefore more prone to give up points themselves.
Below is the top 15 passing teams in the nation.
- Texas Tech
- New Mexico State
- BYU
- Missouri
- Arizona
- Florida
- Hawaii
- SMU
- Northwestern
- Tulsa
- Florida Atlantic
