CALGARY, Alberta (AP) -Calgary Flames defenseman Robyn Regehr aggravated a knee injury, forcing him to miss Game 3 of the opening playoff series with the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday night.
Flames coach Jim Playfair hopes to have Regehr in the lineup for Game 4 on Thursday.
Regehr missed the first game of the series but returned for Game 2 on Sunday. He sat out the third period after a collision with Red Wings forward Kris Draper.
Also, the availability of Red Wings forward Todd Bertuzzi would be determined at game time. He’s recovering from concussion symptoms and has yet to appear in this postseason.
